Here's a peek at what you'll find in the brochure: Options for working out a solution which may include; loan modification, repayment plan, forbearance, reinstatement, or deed in lieu of foreclosure. 'Bad' mortgages now resulting in 'sticker shock', quick references for consumers, warning signs of predatory lending, and selling your home for less than owed, 'short sale'.
As a REALTOR, we are in the business of helping people become and remain homeowners. After investigating all other options, sometimes the best course of action is for the homeowner to sell the home to avoid foreclosure. By selling, it will be easier to qualify for credit to buy another home in the future. This is referred to as a 'short sale' which requires lender(s) approval. Contact me as soon as possible if this seems to be the best course of action.
